An artist's heart and soul goes into the things they create. And when they share those items with others, a little bit of that love goes with each piece.

My original handmade creations are made with love and much care. I insist on making one-of-a-kind and very limited edition pieces because I enjoy the design process and want you to have and enjoy something very unique.

Our family has always adopted rescued dogs. We find comfort and joy that we were able to give these dogs a much better life than they would have had.

Rowdy was found roaming the streets of Mesa AZ at 4 months old. He was rescued by a cat-rescue lady, who almost hit him in the street with her car. He was covered in ticks and fleas. He was cleaned up and neutered, and put up for adoption. I fell in love with his little terrier face (it was an internet affair!) and brought him home.

Rowdy is a very smart terrier mix. He is mostly Schnauzer, with a little Cocker Spaniel and Pomeranian - we call him a Schnockerpom!

He is very active, and to keep him out of trouble, he went to obedience school (twice!) Because he still needed to overcome his trust issues, we took him to agility class, where he excels! He does not compete, but we have a lot of fun!

Because he is so active, and he loves other dogs and will run to play with strangers, (even coyotes, who he doesn't realize are not his friends), we decided to get Rowdy a companion, which brought Ziba into our lives -

Ziba was actually hit by a car, also roaming the streets! The conscientious driver took her to a vet, who examined her and pronounced her unhurt.

I took Rowdy to an adoption site to view and meet another dog, and Ziba was there. When she met Rowdy, and I took the two dogs for a walk, they acted like they had known each other forever! When I offered Ziba a treat, she sat for the treat - and it was a done deal!
She is the sweetest, calmest, most affectionate dog we have ever known.

She came to us a little chubby, and I thought she would be a dog-bed potato. Instead, she enjoys our daily walks, and she wrestles and romps with Rowdy all day long. They romp and sleep and romp and sleep all day. Rowdy is much more settled now that he has a calm companion. Our lives are now complete.

She is a Beagle-Basset-Dachshund mix - we just call her Chub-a-lub-a-zub or Ziba-licious!

Gypsy
was a neighbor's dog who wouldn't stay in her yard. She followed us and other neighbors home time after time. When the Humane Society picked her up and told the owners she had to stay in the yard, she began spending her days tied to a tree.

We have a good relationship with these neighbors and we all agreed she would be happier in our fenced yard, with our 'pack'. She has adjusted wonderfully and this wonderful active dog even runs the agility course with Rowdy (she is still learning).

Gypsy's DNA says shes a Rottie-Husky-Chow mix - What do you think? Whatever the mix, she is the sweetest most affectionate dog ever!

If you are thinking of adding a pet to your family, please consider a rescued pet. Please do not adopt if you do not have the means and ability to give them a forever home with the time and attention they need.

Please do support rescued animals and those that help them.

Please have your pets neutered. There are far too many abandoned animals who may not have the happy ending Rowdy, Gypsy and Ziba enjoy.

What difference can having just one pet neutered make? Click

A portion of all proceeds goes to support rescued dogs, ours and others; they thank you!
